Walter Smith

Bio

Walter Smith graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in agricultural engineering in 1976. He served as the Executive Director for the US Department of Agriculture, Yadkin County office before his retirement. Smith has been actively involved in several boards and organizations including the Farm Bureau State Hemp Advisory Committee, the Yadkin County Voluntary Agricultural District Board, the North Carolina Agribusiness Council, and the Yadkin County Extension Service Leadership Advisory Council.
