Vance Dalton

Bio

Vance C. Dalton, Jr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Carolina Farm Credit, a $1.9 billion lending cooperative serving more than 12,000 farmers, agribusinesses and rural residents in the western half of North Carolina. He was raised on an apple and beef cattle farm in western North Carolina. He has a BS in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Business Management from North Carolina State University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of the NC School of Banking/UNC-Chapel Hill. He worked from 1989 to 1993 as an Area Livestock Agent with the NC State University Cooperative Extension Service. He came to Farm Credit in 1993 as a loan officer in Statesville, NC. He has served in numerous roles over the years rising to his current role as President and CEO in 2014. Vance also serves in leadership roles in the national Farm Credit System.
