Maggie Hamm

Bio

Maggie Hamm recently retired as the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer for Carolina Farm Credit (CFC) in Statesville. North Carolina.  She was responsible for external and internal communications, publications, public relations, business and strategic planning, reputation management, Young, Beginning and Small farmer programs, scholarships and other education and outreach programs. She also managed the Association’s grant program which has awarded more than $800,000 in grants to organizations in the CFC territory since 2014. Maggie was raised on a small farm in western North Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and has worked with Farm Credit for the past 30 years. Maggie and her husband Steve (BS Zoology ’85) have almost raised three children. The oldest is married and serves in the US Army, their middle child attends UNC School of Medicine and the youngest recently graduated from UNC.
