Bio
Kyle is the Director of Agriculture for The Biltmore Company in Asheville, NC. At Biltmore, Kyle oversees row crop and forage production, livestock production, natural resources, and Biltmore Grown—the product division of Biltmore Agriculture. In addition to the ag program areas, Kyle is tasked with agritourism and ag storytelling on the estate as well as the agricultural land management of over a thousand acres of pasture and crop lands on the historic property. Kyle is a two-time graduate of NC State University where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Animal Science. During his graduate studies, Kyle worked to better understand the effects of fescue toxicosis in registered Black Angus cattle. Kyle is originally from Taylorsville, NC where he grew up on a Boer goat farm and was active in 4-H and FFA. After graduation, Kyle married a fellow NC State Alum, Sara and together they have one daughter, Reagan (NC State class of 2043).
