Bio

My name is John Michael Scott, and I am a Loan Officer at AgSouth Farm Credit, formally known as Carolina Farm Credit. I have the pleasure of serving rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services. In 2018, I graduated from the Agricultural Institute with degrees in Agribusiness Management, General Agriculture, and Field Crops Technologies. In 2023, I graduated from the University of Mt. Olive with a Bachelor’s in Agribusiness Management. I currently serve on the Agricultural Institute Advisory Board, where I have the opportunity to support and guide the #1 Associate of Applied Science agriculture degree program in the Nation. Additionally, I serve on the Alamance County 4-H advisory board, the Alamance County Extension advisory board, and the Southern Alamance FFA Alumni/ Booster Organization. When I am not in the office, I can be found spending time with my 160-pound golden retriever Charlie or on our coastline in NC.
