Aaron Messer

Bio

Aaron Messer is the Area Business Manager for Bayer Crop Science where he leads the crop protection sales team for the Carolinas, Southeast Virginia, Northern Alabama and Eastern Tennessee. He has served in that capacity since 2020. Prior to his current role with Bayer, Aaron worked for Cargill Animal Nutrition for 18 years, most recently in sales leadership in the southeast US. Aaron is a proud NC State alumnus with a degree in Agricultural Business Management and a concentration in marketing. He uses his passion and experience in sales to teach a workshop for ABM students each fall called “Professional Selling in the Modern Ag Industry.” Aaron lives in Durham NC with his wife Ginna, son Ethan and daughter Savannah. He is a member of the Southern Crop Production Association (SCPA) and a board member of the CALS Alumni and Friends Society. He is also a strong supporter of FFA, an elder at Triangle Grace Church and an avid fan of NC State athletics.
