Chris Cammarene-Wessel

Bio
With volunteers, administrators and faculty, Chris has raised tens of millions of dollars to support students, personnel, programs and facilities at NC State. Her tenure at NC State began in 1996, after serving as Director of Development for The Nature Conservancy (1991-1996) and Wesley College (1990-1991), both in Dover, Delaware. Prior to that, Chris was a producer for WLIW-21 on Long Island, where she also raised corporate sponsorship funds and grants for her productions and the station. Chris lives in Raleigh with her husband of 36 years, Richard Wessel, and has two grown children. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling with her whole family, binging streaming series and going to estate and yard sales with her daughter and son-in-law.
