Dr. Stevens leads the Research Triangle Region for Alexandria Real Estate Equities as well as the AgriFoodTech venture investment activities for the Alexandria Venture Investments portfolio, which encompasses innovative companies in the fields of regenerative agriculture, animal health, automation, genetics, and crop inputs. Dr. Stevens also directs the region’s human health life science venture program and leads the strategy for Alexandria’s Research Triangle real estate portfolio. Dr. Stevens began his investing career at Harris & Harris Group, an early-stage venture fund. Prior to joining Harris & Harris Group, Dr. Stevens was the 7th employee at HZO, Inc. where he led its R&D, commercialization, intellectual property and technical business development efforts. Member of NC Plant Sciences Initiative Commercialization Council.
