Bio

Ellen Davis is responsible for generating and managing the Fortiva innovation pipeline
developing new feed additive products that enhance gut health and productivity in
ruminants, swine, and poultry.

Throughout her career, Ellen has served as product development lead and technical
sales support in several organizations including small startup companies to large
corporations such as Church and Dwight and DuPont. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees
in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and Oklahoma State University,
respectively, and a Ph.D. from University of Arkansas with a focus on swine nutrition
and immunology. Her work throughout her education and career in animal agriculture
has resulted in 25 peer-reviewed publications, 15 U.S. patents, and over 50
international patents, mostly related to feed additives for ruminants, swine, and poultry.
