Ross Sozzani

Bio

Ross Sozzani is an associate professor in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at NC State University. After completing her post-doctoral studies at Duke University, Sozzani joined the Department of Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Pavia, Italy as an assistant professor. Her work was supported by the Armenise-Harvard Carrier Developmental Award due to her significant contributions to research in Italy. In early 2021, Rozzani was named director of the plant improvement platform for the North Carolina Plant Sciences Initiative.
