Bio

Duncan is a sophomore crop and soil sciences major with a concentration in agronomy from Raleigh, NC. He is also pursuing minors in both animal science and agricultural business management. Duncan was drawn to a career in agriculture because his family has farmed in East Tennessee for six generations and his grandparents were Extension Agents in that area. After graduation, Duncan is hopeful to be able to operate a farm of his own one day, and is also interested in a career in Extension or consulting. Aside from his studies, Duncan is the music director for the Grains of Time A Cappella group, NC State’s all-male A Cappella group. He is also a member of the Agronomy Club and Alpha Zeta Fraternity.
