Caitlin Rivord

Bio

Caitlin Rivord moved from Ohio in 2010 to attend NC State, where she studied Animal Science and Poultry Science and performed with the Power Sound of the South. In the next 5 years after graduation in 2014, she spent a bit of time in the swine industry before transitioning to the biotechnology industry. In 2019, she joined Aviagen in Huntsville, Alabama in her current role as the Quality Assurance Data Manager and began her official journey in the poultry world. Caitlin now lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband, Travis, also an NCSU alum, and she is the first out-of-state member of the CALS Alumni and Friends Society board. She is pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Analysis at UAH while working full-time at Aviagen. When she is able to find some spare time, she enjoys going hiking with her dog, baking, traveling, or just hanging out at home watching movies.
