Bio

Ashley Collins serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the North Carolina Peanut Growers Association. As CEO, Ashley implements the strategic vision of the Association’s board, which includes fostering relationships between growers and legislative members, overseeing marketing and educational initiatives to promote the nutritional benefits of peanuts, and supporting peanut-related research at various land grant institutions. Prior to joining the NCPGA, she served as the Director of Collegiate Relations and Communication for Agriculture Future of America and as the Education and Marketing Manager for AgCareers.com. Ashley is a graduate of NC State University, with a bachelor of science in Agricultural Education and a masters of science in Agricultural Education from North Carolina A&T State University. Ashley serves as a member of the North Carolina FFA Foundation Board and the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Alumni and Friends Board and is currently a member of the inaugural Palmetto LEAF leadership class offered by Clemson University. Ashley and her husband, Guy, live in Bailey, North Carolina.
